One of our most popular challenges – The Three Peaks Challenge involves trekking for 15 hours, covering a total distance of 22 miles (approx.) within a 30 hour period. The itinerary has been designed to maximise your chances of success – remember, this is not a race! The adventure starts by summiting Ben Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike and then Snowdon. During the challenge we look to keep the walking time of 15 hours or less which is representative of completing the National Three Peaks challenge in 24 hours including travel time.

This challenge is graded as Extreme, and therefore requires a high level of fitness and stamina – training beforehand is essential. It may be tough, but the organisers have a dedicated Events Team who will be with you every step of the way, to ensure you have the best possible experience!

How will we support you?

A DVLCC t-shirt to proudly show off who you are doing this for! Great to use for fundraising events before and great for photos on the day!
• We will send you a Fundraising Information pack which has up-to-date ideas and suggestions on how to raise some good levels of sponsorship.
• Join our Facebook group for challenge event supporters – for like-minded folks who have, or are thinking about taking on a challenge event for us.
• There will also be an invite to come and see us in Cuckfield where we can celebrate you more and all those true heroes that help us provide our service to young families. You are much appreciated and valued and we’d like the chance to say thank you.

How does the money you raise support us?

We can’t continue with our early intervention service without your support. It is actually that simple. The best time to make a significant difference to children with cerebral palsy and similar conditions is early on in their development. We offer a free service to our families to ensure there is no affordability barrier to access our services, therefore we need to raise sufficient funds to provide our conductive education and music therapy sessions at our centre in Cuckfield as well as swimming sessions and our home visits all around West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent.

How to get involved.

Contact us by email: info@dvlcc.org.uk or call 01444 473274 and we will explain what is involved and how we can help with fundraising. You will need to register on the event website to get your place. Three Peaks Challenge details.
