Carol came on board as a Trustee in 2016. She is a former nursing sister, widowed with two grown up adopted children, one of whom was born with Cystic Fibrosis requiring vast amounts of physio, numerous medications and regular hospital visits. She has also been a Justice of the Peace (Magistrate) for 19 years, a former Chair of Governors at a boys special school and currently a primary school Governor.
"Hopefully my experience means that I can empathise with the parents who attend our service in their bid for a good and full life for their children. In the past I have been a Trustee of Home Start, a volunteer parent advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and an adult literacy tutor."
