Abbie is a former student of Ingfield Manor having attended from the age of 9 months until she was 3 ½ years old.
Abbie, age 21, is now ranked number 1 in the UK and number 3 in the world for throwing in the F32 classification. She started her athletics whilst at Treloar's School when she was about 12 years old. Abbie was part of the GB Paralympic team competing in Rio 2016.
In 2016 Abbie, along with her father, gave a presentation evening to staff and former and current parents of our service. The talk highlighted Abbie's journey from her time at School to becoming a Paralympian. Abbie and her father, Mark, also attended the AERO Golf event at the East Sussex National Hotel in 2018 where Mark gave an inspirational talk about Abbie and her achievements.
Abbie has also been to our Centre in Cuckfield on a numbe of occasions and met the current families and children who use our services. We look forward to working with Abbie to help promote not only the benefits of the approach we follow, but also to support our families as their children grow and transition into their next stage.
