My passion has always been working with young children with complex needs, so when an opportunity arose to work with DVLCC I jumped at the chance. I particularly enjoy working with children in the early years as it gives me the opportunity to develop the tools they need to communicate successfully. For many of the children accessing DVLCC this is not always a straightforward process, but I love the problem solving involved, particularly when a child makes a breakthrough with their communication skills. I have also loved the chance to get to know the amazing parents and families, working closely with them towards a joint goal.
