"The change in Alice has been incredible although we have only been attending for a few months. The Cerebral Palsy affects her balance, but this has improved greatly and now she falls much less. Her core and leg strength have both improved meaning she can walk unaided for longer periods. An unexpected gain has been regarding her social and communication skills. Alice is now concentrating for short periods, previously her concentration was very poor. She is now interacting with the team and developing a much closer bond with her twin sister Emily. As a result, Alice is becoming a more content, confident and much happier little girl.

"The Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity not only support Alice, but all the family which has been life changing for us. There are not enough superlatives to describe how fantastic Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity team are and how important this charity is to us and all the families and children they support."

"Joseph has been attending Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity since February 2017. Over these few months we have seen a huge improvement in Joseph's ability to bring his hands together and to use both hands at the same time. He now sits better and enjoys feeding himself and turning the pages of his books, and is getting much better at picking up and handing us objects. With support he can now stand up really well and take a few steps. We have also noticed that lately he makes a bigger variety of noises and expressions! The service has definitely helped our family - seeing our son make progress has been the biggest reward, but it has also been really uplifting to meet people so willing to help us and also to be able to speak to other parents in similar situations."

"We are thankful to the wonderful staff at Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity for their kindness, understanding and love they have shown us. Our son is an affectionate and gregarious little boy who loves his toys and music. Since starting at the Charity, we have had lots of good days. Jude has begun to do standing experiences in a walker and the feelings of love and pride are just so overwhelming that all I can do is let the tears roll down my cheeks – not sad tears, tears of such joy that fall from a heart that is bursting with pride for our amazing little boy."

"Within a few moments of being in the heated water you could see the pure joy on Connie's face. She was splashing about with her arms with the biggest smile on her face. The swimming has helped Connie to develop muscles and also enjoy and relax her body."

"Music sessions have helped Buzby immensely with his communication and expression. He particularly loves the drum and loves telling everyone all about it."
