Parent Support Network
Discovering your child has cerebral palsy or other motor learning impairment can be a daunting prospect for parents. Being able to talk to someone who understands what you’re going through and can offer support and guidance can be crucial in those early days – and that is what our parent support network provides.
We help put parents in touch with other families who have been on the same journey. Parents can attend informal drop-in coffee mornings as well as our organised talks and events and family days out.
Parents will have access to resources such as information links, directory lists and video files from support meetings, and we will be organising talks and bringing in outside resources, such as toy libraries and sensory equipment, for our families to use.
Supporting children for later life and giving them a platform to thrive is at the core of everything we do.
