We are looking to hire a Communicating and Fundraising Executive to join our fundraising team.
We are small team of 6 based in our inspiring Centre for children in Cuckfield, West Sussex. The Fundraising team is a tiny team of two reporting into our Head of Centre. We need to raise approaching £400,000 a year all of which comes from voluntary sources. Over half of the income comes from Trusts and Foundations and this is the responsibility of the Business Development Manager. This post develops income and manages supporter engagement from all other sources. The role also incorporates managing communications and our online presence, including social media and the website. You will be resourceful, with a talent for enrolling others to help and support you. You will need to be someone who relishes a challenge and wants a varied, busy career.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of how social platforms can be harnessed for fundraising initiatives and increasing brand awareness, as well as developing the more traditional offline avenues for fundraising from within our wider community.
Salary range £23,000 - £25,000 based upon experience for this full-time position. 25 days annual holiday. Contingent upon a clear enhanced DBS check.
