In line with Government guidance to avoid all non-essential contact, we took the hard decision to suspend face to face service for all families on the 17th March. We are really pleased to now be back open and offering adapted sessions for families.
Conductive Education sessions have been adapted, with less children in each session, fewer sessions a day to enable the team to clean all equipment and the floor between each session. The team also change their clothes between sessions. As much as possible children are keep 2 meters apart.
Music Therapy is also back, Kylie the Music Therapist is leading 7 sessions a day, cleaning all instruments between sessions and changing her clothes. Families are asked to limit the number of adults and where possible leave siblings in the care of others.
Swimming sessions have also restarted, with less children in each session, change over times in the pool to enable families to change and leave before the next group arrive. The swim teachers will ask families not to sign and children will have one area of the pool with their own equipment in.
Although we are not able to totaly remove the risk of Covid 19 from the services we provide, we are working hard to ensure that families are kept safe.
