In line with Government guidance to avoid non-essential contact, we took the decision to suspend our face to face service for all families as of 17th March. We have not gone away though, and are working hard to continue to provide some support to our families so that their children do not miss out on our help during this COVID-19 shut down period.
"Yesterday's session was amazing; Aya and us enjoyed it a lot. Thanks very much for your huge support to us. Looking forward for next week."
"Please do pass on that it was a great session earlier. Both Cyrus and I got a lot out of it and he was the tiredest I've seen him for a week afterwards, which is a good sign! Really very grateful to you for arranging."
Like so many registered charities now, due to the Covid-19 crisis, we have been forced to cancel all of our upcoming fundraising events in the coming months, which means that we will miss out on the vital funds these events would have raised for us. We have taken the decision to furlough a number of our Service and Fundraising staff and are trying to minimise our costs in this shutdown period. As we are not eligible for any statutory funding and as the Government has made no specific provision to help the charitable sector during this crisis, we really do need to call upon our friends and supporters to lend a hand. We want to make certain we are able to once again open the doors of our wonderful and much needed service at a point when this crisis is over, and to try to help with this, we have launched an Emergency Appeal. Please share this and donate if you can.
